Marking the start of an inspiring collaboration, all BRIDGING-RD project partners gathered in Belgrade on November 4th and 5th 2025, for the kick-off meeting. Dr. Maja Stojiljkovic, project’s principal investigator, presented the introduction to the project and outlined plans for the upcoming period. Dr. Maja Đorđević shared a message from physicians from the Health Care Mother and Child Institute of Serbia “Dr Vukan Čupić”, while Stefan Živković from NORBS provided valuable insight from the perspective of patient organizations. Additionally, our project partners, Dr. Ljubica Matić, Dr. Ann Nordgren and Dr. Richard Cowburn from Karolinska Institutet; Dr. Steven Laurie and Dr. Sergi Beltran from National Center for Genomic Analysis; and Dr. Belen Pérez from the Autonomous University of Madrid, delivered engaging lectures, presenting their institutions and sharing their expertise.
Following this productive meeting, we look forward to the upcoming collaborative research and knowledge exchange!
